Chargers is preparing for coping with the Wildcat

It is predicted that a lot of teams will use this kind of offense formation since it took the the NFL by surprise and by storm in 2008. The Chargers was a victim of the Wildcat and determined not to be this year.

During the past two days, the Chargers spent a lot of time to running the offense in earnest for the first time, in hope that the players will get used to it and manage to cope with it.

"I think it's good for our defense to see," coach Norv Turner said. "They're going to face it."

"If we practice it enough and get good enough at it . . . We've got versatile enough guys, if we can get some plays out of it, it will be good," Turner said.

The players are now confident that they will be ready to face the Wildcat. Safety Eric Weddle told reporters that they need to get used to it and they themselves could do it too even if they would out plan to use it in games.
